Author Bio

Alisha is a wife, mom of three, and lifelong Minnesotan who loves the snow almost as much as her Siberian husky, Zoe. Her favorite days involve all-day outdoor family adventures, followed by a few too many bedtime stories and never quite enough snuggles.
Inspired by her own winter exploits, Alisha’s debut picture book, Whoa, Zoe, Whoa!, follows an intrepid girl and her spirited husky, Zoe, as they set out on a skijoring adventure. Along the snowy trail, the pair works together to navigate obstacles, showing resilience in the face of mishaps while discovering joy in the journey.
When she’s not writing, Alisha can often be found outside with her family skiing, hiking, or chasing her husky through the woods. She hopes her stories encourage kids and adults alike to bundle up, grab a friend, and go play outside.
